Laundry Soap Ministry

Grace Church’s laundry soap ministry began in 2011 and since then has made and distributed over 13,000 gallons of laundry soap to people in Clark County. The laundry soap is made the first Tuesday of the month beginning at 11:00 A.M. We make an average of 115 gallons per month. 100 gallons is distributed to families through the Open Hands Pantry. Volunteer soap makers are welcome. Come on out, it’s a time of fun, fellowship, and great productivity. Laundry soap produced over 100 gallons is distributed through the Springfield Soup Kitchen. The laundry soap ministry is important to families in need because federal aid money cannot be used for cleaning supplies, laundry soap, or personal hygiene items.
